This policy explains how BusiSoft InfoTech (India) Pvt. Ltd. collects, uses and protects personal data through xpresion.in and the Xpresion software and apps, in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Data we collect
- You give us: name, company, email, phone, city and message when you book a demo, contact us or sign up.
- Account and billing: user names, roles, billing address, GSTIN, payment records. Card details are handled by our payment gateway; we do not store them.
- Customer Data in Xpresion: shipment, consignor and consignee details your business enters. Your business is the Data Fiduciary; BusiSoft processes it on your instructions.
- Automatically: IP address, browser, device, pages visited, cookies.
- Mobile app: location during active deliveries and POD photos / signatures, only with permission.
2. How we use it
To provide and support the Services, respond to demo requests, bill and invoice, send service updates and (with consent) marketing, improve the product, keep it secure and meet legal duties.
3. Legal basis
Your consent, or legitimate uses permitted by law such as performing a contract you requested. You can withdraw consent at any time.
4. Sharing
We never sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help run the Services (hosting, payments, SMS / WhatsApp / email, analytics) under confidentiality; with integrations you enable (courier partners, Customs EDI, Tally); and with authorities when the law requires.
5. Cookies
Essential cookies keep the site working; analytics cookies are used only with consent. Manage them through the cookie banner or your browser.
6. Storage and security
Data is stored on secure servers with HTTPS encryption, access controls and regular backups. We will notify affected users and authorities of a personal data breach as the law requires.
7. Retention
Kept only as long as needed or legally required. Customer Data is returned or deleted within 30 days after your subscription ends.
8. Your rights
Access, correction, completion and erasure of your data; withdrawing consent; nominating someone to act for you; raising a grievance. Email info@xpresion.in; we reply within 30 days.
9. Children
The Services are for businesses and not directed at anyone under 18.
10. Changes
Updates are posted here with a new date; significant changes are notified by email or on the site.
